Thanks for the vote and the kind comment !
Even under construction this is a clearly a 4-star page.
Another great page of Dolomites! We only miss few more subgroups. Extensive info, great overview, good graphics. Congratulations!
Thanks for the vote ...
Excellent page, Stefan! If you want to, I can make the map interactive so that you can visit the single summits by clicking on the map (Much like what Vid does or what I have done on Puez-Geisler.
BTW: where did you get that map? I'm looking for something similar on Pale di San Martino.
If there was a page of the week (award) this would have to be it !
Thanks a lot for your vote and the kind comment !
Great mountain and great photos!
Realy thanks for posting.
By the way, do you know that new beautiful photos of Fuji-san in Japan added. I am very plese that if you visit to these photos. Kenzo
Made an accurate work, just more than a simple restyling! So you gave a new life to the page previously of kletterwebbi.
But I'm not yet finished.... I only got as far as Pordoi yet...
I don't have that much knowledge about this area, but from what I can judge, it's truly a great page!.
It's very easy to find the names of the peaks and the logistics sections are great.
All is actually.
Overall an exellent page, but even with DSL this took a while to load. Maybe too many of the big pics, although they seem to provide some good info.
Nice tribute to Stefan. Was it every established how and where he died?
Thanks Moni! No, we don't know how he died but the message on the site of his Alpine Club Section spoke of "umgekommen". So no doubt it was an accident, but whether it was climbing or traffic related we don't know.
As for the pictures - you are right there are many. I kept Stefan's overview pictures though I'm not too happy about them myself. My issue however is not bandwidth but the fact that they don't always show mountains of the subgroups they are attached to. I'll change that over time but knowing myself I doubt that the page will load faster afterwards :o)
