Sentiero Livio Brentari

Overview

This Via Ferrata connects Rifugio Pedrotti to Rifugio Agostini or Rifugio Apostoli (combined with Senterio dell'Ideale). It can also be used as a connection to Rifugio Brentei.
The shortest option is to/from Rifugio Agostini.

Getting There

Rifugio Pedrotti
From Molveno: via path 332 to Rifugio Selvata, then path 319. Total 1550m acent.
From Madonna di Campiglio via Rifugio Brentei and then path 318 (total 3- 4h).

Rifugio Agostini
From San Lorenzo in Banale, 4h.

Route Description

From Agostini up a scree slope on path, across the glacier (normally a marked route). Then up on the left side of a colouir on wire and ladders. Some more wired sections too you cross a small bridge.

Essential Gear

Early in season there can be snow over the wire in some sections, and axe/crampons or a short rope can be handy. On the Pedrotti side there is also a short steep snow colouir.
