September, 1999 (Coleman Glacier) - Turning the corner by Colfax Peak at about 8,400 ft. Having been on the mountain in both September and June, I'm amazed at the difference in the number of exposed crevasses. In June, we didn't have to cross any dubious snow bridges, whereas in September, there were several.
