An early ascent of Sexy Sadie (5.10D-R,) in Joshua Tree. Gotta love the authentic Grammicci lightning bolt pants and old style screamer on the 1/4 bolt. And how about the old 5.10 edging shoes with the green rands. Those were prototypes - not in the stores yet. The route went up in 1983 and this picture was taken, I think, the following year by Charlie Crist. (Kris Solem Collection)
