Shastina from the Whitney Glacier

The moon rises over Shastina from the base of the Whitney Glacier. The dark area in the foreground is snowmelt running off the lower portion of the glacier.

It was Eric. Mount Shasta is hands down my favorite peak to visit. Not even close.

Thank you Larry. I had some fresh white Irish Cheddar with me, almost always do, but was lacking in the wine department. Something for the next trip!

I like the moon...

...., undoubtedly flirting with the clouds racing by...just an element easy to overlook in such aclassic foto. No need to add anything other than footprintd to the summit. 10/10
