Beautiful and fun
Great, fun summit! My wife, 7-year-old and I started late Friday from Ironstone Mountain trailhead, camped on the shoulder of Burnt Mountain and hiked Shellrock the next day. Views were excellent, the columns are extremely cool and fun to clamber around, wildflowers were nice on the approach. We only saw one other hiker on our way out.
