I have also done this peak as a bushwhack from the summit of Marshall. A sane person would start from the trail in between the two summits, were (s)he not already sitting on top of Marshall dreaming up how to spend the rest of the day. It is much easier going up (quite doable). Begin at the western base of the cliffs near the trail. Then just hike out over Iroquois as going down this way is just no fun.
