Re: White Rim?Thanks Dirk!
I know that the 2 rivers meet somewhere in the area but is it directly down below the White Rim I'm not sure??

Re: White Rim?The two rivers meet south of here, just below the southern-most extent of the White Rim. If your in the area and notice the towering Junction Butte, the rivers meet right near the butte, so you can recognise the area for miles around.
PS, Junction Butte is a really good one, that is not in the rock climbing books, but it is only 4th class to low 5th class. Still a nice climb though. I may add it to SP sometime, but I'll have to wait to get the pics scanned.

Bitchen Shot! What a killer view! All of your photos from this trip are great. Any plans on doing that big mother (Monster Tower)?

Re: Bitchen Shot!Thank you very much Martin.
yeah, would love to get on that sucker but gotta see when the next opportunity presents itself. North Ridge (IV 5.11-) route is a semi-classic (there was a TR on it on cc.com earlier in the year).
Cool towers.....little hiking and much climbing to some spectacular summits (esp. Monster I think). Feel very remote too.
