Showy Jacob's Ladder

Showy Jacob's Ladder (Polemonium pulcherrimum) of the Phlox family is native to North America and is known to grow at elevations between 5000 and 10,000 feet. Photographed at 7000 feet on Glacier Peak, July 29, 2010.

Phlox Family

It looks like a "Jacob's Ladder", which is a part of the phlox family. Maybe someone will know the scientific name per the area it was seen. There are a couple different Jacob's Ladder.
