Climbed with Kevin B, Kevin P, Sarah and Keegan from Lead King. The route up the face had some fun scrambling (when it was dry) but with the summit ridge socked in with fog, then some drizzle and flurries, the slick rocks made the finish sketchy!

south ridge
Beautiful peak from a distance, but I was a little disappointed in the climb. Loved the meandering creek and little beaver dams on the approach though. Hiked with Kiefer.

South Ridge
Been meaning to get up this mountain for a while. Finally got a chance to nab it after changing our (Stephanie Lynn) original plans. The South Ridge was far more complicated and aggrevating then what I thought. Tons of crumbly & loose rock.
Awesome views of the Capitol-Snowmass Traverse but the mountain itself was ho-hum.

rain and shinerain and shine, solitude.
Upper load to Lead King Basin is blocked by avalanche debris. And the road from Crystal is rough!
