The 2" x 3" Coghlan's signal mirror. The literature stated that it was visible at a 10 mile range where the SOL brand that is exactly the same size is rated at 30 miles. My opinion after testing the Coghlan's would be that the range depends upon the atmospheric conditions. Haze, air pollution, dust, etc. would limit the effective range.
