Looks like a fun hike. Nice overview.
Thanks for your vote!
Very nice photos - you really did have great weather.
Thanks. The morning did not start out so nice but once I got to those pits it cleared and warmed. Too bad you didn't have the same when you were there. Thanks for the vote.
Well done as usual. Looks like a fun mountain.
Thanks again for putting one of my pics into a more prominant spot on one of your pages!
I live just 21 miles (as the crow flies) from Silver Star and have run/hiked the trails innumerable times. It's an underrated mountain with tremendous attributes.
Thanks for the vote. You keep the great pictures coming and I'll keep putting them on the front page. Deal? :- )
I see SIlver Star every day on my drive on I-205 to work. Sometimes Adams peeks over the top of it. Sounds like you have nice views from where you live.
Thanks for the pictures. I lived in Dole Valley at the base of Silver Star for 25 years. My wife's ashes are on the mountain as mine will be some day. I have been there many times on every route. The wild flowers are something to see.
I just went up yesterday and saw the goat, will post some photos today. I've only been there in Fall and Winter. When are the wildflowers the best?
I saw the mountain goat saturday, April 1. Still there. Wow. Really neat to see so close to home. Thanks for a great site, Brian.
Very cool. Glad you got to see it. Thanks much for the kind words.
You should have a sub page for Sturgeon Rock now that it has been declared the Clark Co. High point.
