No need to be sorry. I totally agree. I have had to rap on a single Lost Arrow in Yosemite before, and it didn't feel very good. In fact, my buddy was hanging from the same piece when I rapped on it.
I'd take a two piece anchor anyday.
In this case, although I have never seen anyone use this particular piece, I think it's a directional for a much beefier anchor on top used for climbing classes. That would have to be the answer.
