No bears....  Sucess!

Like most Glacier stuff, good routefinding is essential but if you can find the right way, this one certainly is not a hard objective. Bummed not to see any bears though.

Sinopah Mountain  Sucess!

This one was fun, we went to the right of the snow chute and ended up doing more of a climb than we needed to, so we descended on the left. Not too hard, would definitely do again!

Second Time  Sucess!

Took Chad, Leila, and Sean up for their first time on Sinopah. Was a bit hot for my liking but still a fun, classic climb in the park.

Nice scramble-what a setting!  Sucess!

Penelope and I saw this this peak rising out of Two Medicine Lake and had to hike/scramble up it. There was plenty of snow left on the ground so getting through the few steep snow fields was fun. A bit of scrambling and sensational views.

Why'd I wait so long?  Sucess!

One slice of Kath's Straw/Rhu/Blue before, one slice after. Met some friendly folks on top and joined them for the descent. I lazily strolled out to Cobalt afterward because I'd never been that far up the valley - a dat that reminded me why this is my favorite place on Earth.

Classic  Sucess!

Finally got around to bagging this beauty. Sinopah is representative of a lot of peaks in the park. Climbed with Amanda and this was her second peak in the park with Wilbur being her first. Nice easy climb. Had to do it fairly quickly as a storm was moving in (of course it didn't materialize). Highly recommended peak for those new to the park. Loved the nude buttocks photo in the register!

Climbed with a group of GMS members. Great views with good friends. But best part was soaking soar feet the cool creek above the waterfalls on the way down.

Perfect Quick Climb  Sucess!

Climbed on a gorgeous, sunny, blue-sky September day. Wind wasn't even much to speak of!
Climbers were 2 Babbylonians, 2 East Glacier School Teachers, and 2 recently engaged Whitefishites. Really an excellent climb, particularly for anyone that might be worried about exposure (ain't much, if any).
