Never Disappointed

The peninsula on the north end of the lake offers wonderful photo ops. The trail from the Coldwater parking area to Arrowhead Lake (fabulous itself) seems to be all uphill. Take the drop down trail on your left, follow the shore of Arrowhead, and proceed along the right side of the lush setting of the creek. Historic remnants of the Skelton Boys are just off this trail near the top of the creek. Continue on the trail (north), and discover the splendor of Skelton Lake. If you have time, continue to the unique jade green Barney Lake.
