Good page. The ears look cool.

"Karst" is a term used in US used to describe limestone landscapes pocked with caves and sinkholes. I imagine the name came from this very location!

Another great page, Vid and nice pics, too. (Isn't there a rule about only one fauna or flora photo per page though!)

I'm not aware of that rule, but would agree with it. Will stick to it - on my next pages :-) Thanks!

This is really a surprise Vid, beautiful page and shots!! I didn’t expect that you’ll cover this area. Those anti-culture folks are still silent?! Maybe something has changed towards more positive attitude :-)

Well, or nobody cares any more. Anyway, I'll use my judgement. Thanks for visiting, Sasa!

Great page, great area with a changeful and sometimes very cruel history.

Yes, Klaus, the history of Istra is a special story. It's very rich, perhaps not even so cruel. If you mean Kras and may be the World War I, you're right - there was some heavy fighting.

Thanks, Bor. I wish that someone would post a climbing page about Osp, Misja pec and Crni Kal.

I agree with all those good people said before me. Not a mountain but sure of interest to the community. I'll be posting a similar area guide page tomorrow. Got 14 MS-Word pages already ;-)

There's still&always a lot of work to do about the Trieste/Slovenia/TopNorthMediterraneanPoint/AlpeAdria/JulianAlps/Karst/Istria/Dinaric area - a part of Europe which I just fell in love with - like I think anyone could do if he could visit it knowing what to see and where to go! Ciao :-D
