Maybe not the side for many of climbers, but for me one of greatest one. Peacefull place of our sunny side of Alps. Our country realy consists of so many beauties. Thank you, Vid Pozdrav ROK
This is really a surprise Vid, beautiful page and shots!! I didn’t expect that you’ll cover this area. Those anti-culture folks are still silent?! Maybe something has changed towards more positive attitude :-)
Yes, Klaus, the history of Istra is a special story. It's very rich, perhaps not even so cruel. If you mean Kras and may be the World War I, you're right - there was some heavy fighting.
I agree with all those good people said before me. Not a mountain but sure of interest to the community. I'll be posting a similar area guide page tomorrow. Got 14 MS-Word pages already ;-)
There's still&always a lot of work to do about the Trieste/Slovenia/TopNorthMediterraneanPoint/AlpeAdria/JulianAlps/Karst/Istria/Dinaric area - a part of Europe which I just fell in love with - like I think anyone could do if he could visit it knowing what to see and where to go! Ciao :-D

Untitled CommentGood page. The ears look cool.
"Karst" is a term used in US used to describe limestone landscapes pocked with caves and sinkholes. I imagine the name came from this very location!

Untitled CommentAnother great page, Vid and nice pics, too. (Isn't there a rule about only one fauna or flora photo per page though!)
