Work trip peakbagging!
Some work colleagues agreed to spend a Sunday hiking with me. A recent snow fall made it an interesting affair. Cold and icy on this November day but a beautiful area for sure. Happy to nab highest point of Northern Ireland.
Did it as part of the Mourne wall when training for Kilimanjaro. The Mournes are absolutely gorgeous.

Rain & Strong wind
Climbed together with Maarten en Werner on a 48 hour visit to Northern Ireland. Drove from Belfast to Newcastle early in the morning. The weather was fine at that point. During the day the weather was getting worse. At the Donard saddle we ended up in a thick cloud cover. Wind speed increased rapidly to at least 9BFT and last but not least it also started raining heavily. Nonetheless it was a great experience. Great trail (Glen river Path) and great landscape.
