Slushy Tarns

Seen from near the base of the Lookout Couloirs, view facing east as storms approach. In late summer, there often is no water here, and these tarns are not even marked on some maps, but this was a heavy snow year and summer arrived late. Snowy Range, Wyoming-- July 2009
