Disneyland for Climbers
Spent a few days climbing with a team of five. We had a good mix of trad and sport climbing while we were there. Looking forward to next time.

Spent 4 days climbing and took a break in between to climb Mount Shasta.

St Helens
We climbed a few days at Smith and on Friday May 15, 1980 we seriously discussed slipping through the "red zone" that was around St Helens and climbing it. We had heard that others had done it and the thought of bagging an active volcano sounded pretty cool. However, we partied a little too hard that weekend and on Saturday we decided to drive home instead. At 8:32 AM on Sunday morning (the day we planned to be there) St Helens blew up.

Quick Stop at SmithMade a stop here during a drive from San Diego to Seattle. Was lucky enough to hook up with another climber and did a few routes.
