That snow is so perfect it whets my appetite for cake with icing and lots 'n lots o' whipped cream! ;-)
The holidays made me think of that too!
it makes me want to check out what's going down at the neighborhood's bakery department.
Someone's in the kitchen with Santa ...
Sorry, I'm blaming it all on that bad batch of eggnog!
Yeah for eggnog! Had my first cup today at our holiday lunch at work!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Larry!
Yummy looking pic! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thanks! I hope your year has been good so far!
Really great. And a double portion of cake for me too. Remembering to brush my teeth straight after!
Thank you! You're funny!
lovely abstract image!
Thanks! You have been posting some wonderful pictures of one of my favorite places on earth, the Blue Ridge Mountains!
Thanks. I'll be posting more of the Blue Ridge--a highly underrated area.
Never saw this one before Kathy. Really smooth like sand dunes.
How's the snow depth in the Sierras this month? What's your guess as to whether Tioga Road will be open when we are there May 22 - 24?
I don't know the snow depth. A friend just spent a few days skiing Tahoe last week and a brief cold front moved through the bay area dumping a considerable amount of snow on the higher elevations. We had some big storms early in the season but lately the weather has been cool but sunny and nice. We do need more rain. Otherwise Tioga will be opening earlier than usual which would probably be during your time frame.
There is always a forum post updated about the opening date by early May.
I look forward to what you post from Yosemite!
All the best!
Thanks Windsor....I've been following the reports but it's hard to get more than the big picture this early!
I will definitely post some of my shots from the trip.
