Snowmass from "North Snowmass"

This is the view of Snowmass from near the summit of its sub-summit "North Snowmass". This image shows an overview of the northern summit ridge of Snowmass, which is used when climbing from the west. The side trip to the north summit is worth the extra effort, its only a 40' rise and takes about 20 minutes. You get great views of Capitol Peak, one of Colorado's most spectacular 14ers.
