Snowyside
My 2nd Idaho County High Point! We backpacked into Twin Lakes & woke up the next morning early. Very fun class 3 scramble, several false summits. Each one looks very intimidating from afar but the rock is solid and there are plenty of hand/foot holds. Got off the summit and packed up and hiked back out.

My first real peak!
Backpacked in and stayed at Twin Lakes, peaked the next day! Fun to hit rocks off the top with the golf club!
Ascended the east ridge, then descended the north ridge. Once I cleared the class4 towers I dropped down the east face for a direct line to Peak 10052.

Not snowy
Camped at Lake Alice the day before. Nice hike in the morning to the pass. Then a crappy scree field to the ridge and fun scrambling to the summit (with the exception of the last gendarme which I passed low on the left in the crappy steep scree/talus). Amazing views of the Sawtooths from the top.

Great way to end the season!
Saw a mountain goat on the way up. Brought Katelyn up for her first peak while doing the Alice-Toxaway loop. Not too bad of a summit from Twin lakes where we packed in (from Toxaway side) Favorite peak in the Sawtooths so far!

First Idaho peak!
I hiked up to the saddle from our campsite at Alice Lake, and over to the SE ridge. It was a great mountain for my first climb, but the views were a little obstructed by the nearby fires. There are many lakes visible from the top!

Awesome ridgeline!
Climbed up to twin lakes from pettit lake. Made base camp right in between the two lakes. Twin lakes has great swimming hole and campsites. From the pass made our way up the face aiming for a red band of rock that led to the ridge line. Once on the ridge the fun scrambling begins. made it to the summit early so we were able to spend over an hour up top counting the endless number of lakes, and soaking up the breathtaking views of the sawtooths!

Via Toxaway loop
Climbed from the pass on day two of the backpacking loop. Mostly good rock with some good exposure and a few tricky scrambles. Amazing views!
From the pass on the trail, we dropped our packs and made it to the summit in exactly an hour. Nice climb, with pretty solid rock.
The view from the top was terrific, we counted 31 lakes but probably missed some. All in all, a fun climb, maybe a few class 3 sections but thats about it.

My first Class 3
My first Class 3 scramble with my high school buddy Brian. After we negotiated a fair amount of snow on route to the Twin-Tox pass we made our way over to the SE side for the summit. Met a writer from Ketchum doing a story on the route. A fine day coupled with an unfortunate sunburn.

Beautiful
Several false summits and a rotten trail half packed with loose snow made it a chore, but the views were inspiring and praise-worthy.

Toxaway Loop
Climbed it during a weekend hike around the Alice-Twin-Toxaway loop. A group of three took off from the new saddle between Twin and Toxaway. Walked up the NE spur, then cut across the face to the SE ridge. On the ascent, we were too low and missed the trail heading up. We attained the ridge at the base of the treeline, then threaded up to the false summits. Had a good hour at the top. On the way down, we took the steeper, but easier, trail back to the saddle.

Southwest Ridge
Great peak in a great area. Climbed the southwest ridge during an excellent backpacking trip. A goat trail goes about two-thirds of the way up from the saddle, the last sections was some fun scrambling. Summit views were great in all directions. Trip Report

From SW saddle above lake 9167
Dropped backpack at saddle on the way into Flycreek drainage and scrambled the ridgeline to the summit. Sketchy near the top with arguably class 4 moves. Stiff penalty for slipping up; you would not want to lose your footing here. Fortunately the loose talus is interspersed with small outcrops that give you firm footing to catch your breath.

East Ridge Route
I climbed this peak several years ago. The view was great! We didn't get to spend much time at the summit because other members of our group were too tired and wanted to continue on to Toxaway. I plan on going back to this area sometime later this year.

Chasing the scouts!!
What a great hike. We left from Toxaway in the morning, dropped our packs at the pass, and summited thereafter. The scouts were running on all cylinders. Fun peak for a big group!
