Sokorói-dombság

Sokorói-dombság

The view of Sokorói-dombság, with Szent Pál-hegy in the middle (not easy to identify). Szent Pál-hegy is the highest point (316 m) of the historic Győr County of Hungary. This county exists since the beginning of the 11th century. People leaving in the nearby city Győr call Sokorói-dombság as "Nyúli-havasok". Nyúl is the funny name of a nearby village, meaning Rabbit, while havasok can be translated as Alps. So it means something like Rabbit Alps. These small hills have an extremely different view than anything in the Alps :)
