Sometimes I wish...

Sometimes I wish to be healthy
Sometimes to be true
Sometimes I wish to be wealthy
To pay all my dues

But you know what
Nothing like this really matter
Just looking at Pico Paraná
Gets me way better

Long bus drive to the wet city
On my search for the highest ones
Nice mountains of my country
Once unknown to everyone
Well my friends they are gorgeous I must say
But if you wanna know them, you have to pay

Some years ago seeking adventure at 1.877 meters
I saw some cute little things
Dogs, cats, owls and even beavers
Looking for streams
To drink and to be full of life
Whenever I go, must say bye to the future wife

I went south of my home
Some three hundred miles away
To reach my goal, the highest one
Not very easy to summit some say

But that’s not really true
With good music and game face on
Listen to some Megadeth, Classics and maybe some Montley Crue
Music taste apart, keep going on

I must keep on track, direct opposite descent
Faster and faster, one hour to reach camp two?
No Sir, I wouldn’t bet one cent
I am not as fast as you

45 minutes and Camp two yes it is
Perfect for some big tents
So you can picture I say with emphasis
And it doesn’t fell like a simple compliment
Beautiful place, it just feels right
Stop being such a lazy, this can’t take all night

On the trail again, it’s close now
The false summit is right here
The sun is setting, time for alpenglow
I wanna sleep up there

I don’t know about you, but I am pretty tired
Hanging around lose rocks, carrying such weight
Next time a Sherpa I will hire
A strong one which can carry not packs for one, but for eight!

At the last sunlight I reach the top
sweating like a pig
Finally I can rest, finally I can stop
But I can also say I DID IT

Mission accomplished, time to sleep
I dreamed about this for weeks
Sign the visitor’s book, check on others handwriting
Oh I’m too tired for that”. Dude just chill, quit whining!

Tomorrow is another day, soon the sun will rise
From the deepest part of the horizon to warm us all
And when that happen, we must go back to our own demise
Forget about small things like football
The problem is traffic jam, murders, global warming
Think a little bit, this is a warning

Sometimes I wish...
Sometimes I wish I could fly
Sometimes I wish I could fix all mistakes of mankind
Sometimes I wish I was a fly
Things could be much easier that way
Sometimes I wish I could just fly away.

Good one Paulo,

Did you say "sometimes I wish I was a fly?" I have wished to be many things through the years, but never a fly. I wonder how that'd feel, bizzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!
