...the "Beano!" ffffffffrrrt!
Could've used Beano on that torture trip up from Shorty's Well.....barrrffff and frrrrrtttt!!
look like some insecure pro on it? the alligator plates don't look too positive eh?
It's all trad....nothing but slinging knobs and nuts in between the plates. This route in particular was fun and protectable! The holds weren't as positive as I had hoped. Amazing moves in the lower third of this route.
nice lead Dave - it looks exciting!
Nice and SPICY lookin, yum yum! Thanks for sharing Dave!
Sandstone of some sort? Great shot and nice lead,
It's good ol' fashion Sierra granite. This formation is featured with chickenheads and patina plates. This enable the cliber to take on a more traditional approach to climbing such a place (ie slinging chickenheads and nut placements in between patina plates). An amazing place!
Outrageous, looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for filling me in. I always look forward to your Sierra climbing pics. Have yet to get there...
It would be great if you ever made it out here. There are several guys and gals here in Cali that would love to take you out to the "gems" (ksolem, Shortimer, boulderhound, myself, Deb, Miguel Forjan)....just to name a few.
I will definately keep in mind that I have some climbing partners in Cali. I'll make sure to give you a heads up when I make it out that way.
You're on Dan.....belay, that is!
