View of South Baldy's (elev. 10,783 ft.) northeast ridge. Water Canyon Road and North Baldy Trail No. 8 are visible at the bottom left. With a prominence of 3,813 feet, South Baldy ranks 6th on New Mexico's prominence list. It is also the high point of the Magdalena Mountains as well as Socorro County. Photo taken 3/2/08.
