South Face of Trivor (7728m)

South face of Trivor (7728m) from Bitanmal which lies immediately east of the Kunyang Glacier - Hispar Glacier junction. The peak lies West of Bularung Sar (7200m) and SE of Momhil Sar (7343m) at the Eastern end of the Hispar Muztagh. No attempts have been made on the mountain from the south side. The first ascent was made in 1960 by Wilfrid Noyce, Jack Sadler (British/US) from the Gharesa Glacier to the SW. From here a col was gained to the NW of Trivor on the ridge linking it with Momhil Sar (7343m). The NW Ridge was then climbed. The only other ascent was by a Japanese team from the Momhil Glacier to the north. They gained the same NW col via an Easterly ridge and proceded to climb the NW ridge to the summit.
