Grassy Ledges

Radek, I was a little disappointed that there was not a route overlay showing the route up the grassy ledges. :-)

Re: Grassy Ledges

sorry Alan,

don't know what mind-blocking fit came over me that I did not include the overlay :)

....maybe my mind is trying to suppress memories of that so-called class 4, dirty, wet and dripping nightmare of an approach!

Re: Grassy Ledges

So is it better to go over Tiger Tower or to go up the grassy ledges?

Re: Grassy Ledges

Don't know since we have not done Tiger variation. However, having done the ledges, I'd definitely try Tiger next time (probably more pleasant and scenic). Ledges though easy were wet, dripping, slippery, and I'd say harder than 4th class. I would not do them unroped (of course many others do).
