Hot Summer Hike  Sucess!

Went with family. Wife and kids stopped about 500 feet from summit. To hot and tired at 10:00a.m. First time out alone with family and three kids (4 months, 2 years and 4 years old). Good days and exercise. My 4 year old hiked a ton, was really proud of what he could do.

2nd visit  Sucess!

Ken Jones and I had to hike this one from the road as the gate is now locked which means additional elevation gain and distance are added to the hike. We found the register left by Andy Martin and Mark Nichols at the so called summit area. I added a container that was big enough to fit the smaller one of Andy's inside. A beautiful day and Ken and I enjoyed the hike. This was my second visit but the first time it was pretty much snow covered.
