On many of the pictures I've seen of the Tibetan plateau, it does, yes!

Maybe a cougar. Larry, I know you lived in Tooele, did you ever pay any attention of this area? It is really overshadowed by the Stansbury range to the west.

Yes, I fondly remember that area from a
motorcycle trip I went on as a youngster.

To make a long story shorter, my motorcycle
got stuck in "quicksand" up East Hickman Canyon in the Stansburys, which is the
prominent canyon seen to the left in this picture.

Ended up having to "hoof it" all the way
(west) on the dirt road immediately to the
south of South Mountain to Highway 36,
where I called my Dad on a pay-phone in
Stockton.

Remember seeing several rattlesnakes along
the way, but no cougars. What an adventure!!!
