South Ramp Bighorn Sheep

South Ramp Bighorn Sheep

Proof positive that they don't call it Sheeprock for nothing! These poised and balanced critters are running near the South Ramp Route (YDS 5.5). It was an amazing site to behold!

Velcro Rock

I believe the name of that rock is called Velcro Rock. After climbing there, those sheep must have velcro on their hoofs! It's way steeper than pictures make it look. Nice picture….what a moment to capture!

Re: Velcro Rock

Brit,

Hmm, I thought Velcro Rock was to the left in this photo. No matter...

These sheep were simply amazing.

Climbed a good chunk of the day at Shelf yesterday. Still have no idea what routes I actually climbed - there are so many to choose from!
