South Ridge down to Upper Blue Lake

Heavy mist parted on the South Ridge of Mount Sneffels to reveal lichen painted towers protruding from Upper Blue Lake.

The standard (SE Slopes?) is pretty tame. just a touch of fun right near the summit to make it fun. We'll put a blindfold on and carry you up before you get to that point. I'm serious.

I get lucky oncein a while. This is shot just as the route descends the notch to the right. I went left to check out the northwest side and cought this on the way back. Clouds drifted over it right after this. - Mar 27, 2007 11:13 pm - Voted 10/10

Sneffels was one of the funnest days I've ever had in the mountains. You're lucky to call this your backyard!
