South Direct route (5.9), very fun route, can't wait to get back to the area to do some more climbs here!

Nice desert tower  Sucess!

Joe Slansky, his sis (Jill) and I climbed the 5.6 route. We made it an adventure by mt. biking in with our gear from Hwy 211, stashing the bikes at the base of scree, and hiking/climbing the rest of the way. Jill set a refrigerator sized boulder loose on the way down... they tumbled and rolled together, but miraculously it lifted enough as it rolled over her. Pushing the bike with her on it was the toughest part of my day!

Fun Climb  Sucess!

A fun, simple climb with incredible views into Canyonlands and Indian Creek. While preparing for the third pitch a nasty hail/rain storm blew in for about 30 minutes. We just had to sit it out and continued climbing with numb hands after it passed.

My first desert climb and first trip to the moad area. A fun climb and nice tower, but the loose sandy scree to the base of the climb kinda sucked. PICS
