Glad to see some effort put into this part of Oregon. I hope to make it back there before too long. The lack of trees certainly makes it a great place to contemplate geology.
Thanks; I always enjoyed your trip reports set in the blue mountains. I think I have seen more mustangs around Beatys Butte than anywhere, they are elusive for sure!
I've had no trouble getting lost out here a couple times, just try driving across the catlow valley without the benefit of directions haha. Thanks for the compliment larry.

Great jobI somehow missed this back when you put it up. You obviously put a lot of effort into the page. This should be a featured page.

Re: Great jobThanks for the compliment Bob;
It wasn't much when I started it last year, but I've been adding information and pictures ever since.

Warner MountainsI am nearing completion of an area page on the Warners. Do you care if I attach it to this page, even though most of the range is in CA?

What an incredible page !The Alvord Desert just blows me away every time I see it.
Seems like a person could become "lost" in this area. I especially
like the obsidian beds scattered throughout the vast landscape!!!
