Southern Pickets

Southern Pickets

You are looking at the most rugged and inaccessible peaks in Washington State, and the lower 48 states for that matter. The Picket Range has been called the most isolated place in the continental United States. These are the southern Pickets as viewed from the east, on the summit of Elephant Butte. The main points visible here from left to right are East McMillan Spire, The Pyramid, Mount Degenhardt, Mount Terror, The Rake, East and West Twin Needle, Ottohorn, and Frenzel Spitz.
