Class 4  Sucess!

Do not do this unless it has snow in it still. On Aug.7 2015 (major years of drought) there was just a small amount of hard blue ice left on the north side. There were crevasses at the bottom of where one would fall. Immediately above the 35-40 degree ice/small glacier was 35-50 degree and occasionally vertical loose crumbling mud. I climbed the rotten rock on the west side (approached from Big Pine South Fork). Many class 4 moves on unstable crap. Definitely used one of my 9 lives.

class 2-3  Sucess!

Descended loose chute on SE ridge with a few class 3 moves. The chutes look easier the further south you get from Southfork Pass, including a class 2 traverse from the slopes of Pk 4138.
