Mount King George
Probably the first ascent of King George in 2012 season. With Shaun P. We found the extra snow conditions to be perfect. The road not so much. We did not have a chainsaw and barely got by without one, towing trees off the road, etc. I fell on the approach just under the upper bivy, next to the braided waterfalls. 40' fall through trees and stones. Busted up good. Ribs would not let me sleep, so by 3:am said what the hell and we made a respectable 7hr return trip despite a few breathing problems and came all the way back out to the car, in home in Canmore in time for dinner.
