Airy!  Sucess!

Airy! Gets a bit scary for the downclimb after passing all those pitons! Lots of snow made the couliors a breeze.

Stellar Climb!  Sucess!

With Kathy and Norma - took the chockstone chute and stayed on rock as much as possible. I found the chute very pleasant that way. Climb from notch was the best! Class 4 sections too short :( but most enjoyable. We rapped from each rap station for sake of time and safety. Of the 24 mtns I've climbed this year, THIS is my fave!

fun scramble  Sucess!

Climbed this route with friend Nate, from our camp south of Humphreys Lakes. The scree approach is actually not that bad compared to some of my other choss experiences. We accessed the ramp via one of the chutes towards the right side of the face. Once getting to the notch, the climbing is fun and not too hard. Did use a rope on the descent, making 2 rappels to skip the steepest sections of downclimbing. Spectacular views from the top of this beast.

Nice!  Sucess!

Actually climbed the Hutchinson route and ascended the 5.4 ridge to the summit. Very fun, especially towards the top. A lot of scree and loose rock most of the way.

Nice 3d and 4th Class  Sucess!

Did day hike from Piute Pass TH. Very nice scrambling up from the little notch about 600 feet below the summit. But didn't care for the loose scree chutes below the notch.
