Slightly Snowy Conditions
Climbed just after the early snow storm that shut down Going-to-the-Sun road for a day and a half. Was the first party up after the storm and the snow fields made it a bit sketchy in places and wished I had an ice ax at times. Overall, not very difficult and easy to follow. If you screw up your direction, you can easily back track and find the path. Well marked.

3rd Trip
Third climb of this route...great views with lots of wispy fog and clouds moving in and out. The scree is torturous, but the view is worth it.

First Time
Climbed this after kidney stone surgeries, but it was fun anyway.

Second Time
Took Noelle, a former backcountry ranger in GNP. This was her first peak bagged in the park!
Like the route page says. This is a great way for beginners to get used to climbing conditions in Glacier.

Best views I've seen
I got a bit off-route due to thick clouds and fog (ended up ascending the southeast slope), but went back down the southwest slope the right way. Although short, the scrambling at the top was awesome (quite exposed, but still class 3), and the views around Logan Pass were top-notch. See "Northern Rockies Trip" trip report for details.

Fun and easy
Not as exposed as I hoped, but this was a fun route. I was prepared for a lot of scree, but after some of the climbs I've done recently in the Wyoming Absarokas, this was easy! Beautiful summit views - wow!
