This beautiful Spanish Broom (Spartium junceum), also known as Weaver's Broom, was seen in abundance in the Big Tujunga Canyon in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California. It's a perennial, leguminous shrub not native to Southern California but considered rather invasive. May 25, 2008
