Actually, these trails can be quite muddy and hazardous during
the summer monsoon season. The hoodoos are best when the sunlight
is blocked by clouds, but they really stand out in winter.
Started at 9:50. Down to Rampart and back by noon. Plenty of time to sit and enjoy the views too. If it were sunny, the pictures would have been much better.
