One of two summits I did with my husband before attending fellow summitpost member JordanH's Wedding. Good views on top despite rain showers in the area.
I got to hike the totally redone trail with BearQueen all the way to the summit. It was good to see BearQueen get her scramble on to get to the summit.
In town for a few days and decided to go check out this local favorite. Mostly easy except for some rock scrambling the last bit, but nice views.
Couldn't see much due to fog
With Rocky Butte
Would be fun for the whole family.
Nice quick hike in the middle of a warm "winter." Super busy on Saturdays though.
Hiked with alpinedon. nice hike. short and steep. the summit boasts a spectacular 360 degree view
Nice hike after Thanksgiving. It is infact the steep route, first time up this trail. Probably hiked the mountain a dozen or so times over the years. It's a nice hike before Duck games.
25 min hike. Best view of Lane County fireworks.
Took the more technical route up (good scrambling, altho a bit slick in spots) and the more meandery way down. Great little hike.
Nice, wet hike up the hill!
The 3rd of 4 summits this day, before heading over to the Merry Pranksters July 4 gathering. The summit was sublime and beautiful. Wildflowers were blooming. The forested approach was lush.
Super fun. The scrambles were no problem, well, except on the way down. My Dad had to lift me down once. Squirrels at the top were lucky I was on a leash. Fear me, squirrels!
Ten times that I can remember. We were required by the ol football coach to run up this sucker! Man those were the days!
great hike minutes from home
I had fun hiking up this little peak. Near the top, you feel ike you climbed a little mountain, complete with small summit block.
I've done this peak and the various hikes on it by far more times than any other place. My favorite way now is to go via the Headwaters Of The Amazon trail.
Lots of Spring wildflowers including Western Trilliums, Trout Lilys, Calypso Orchids, and Grand Hounds-Tongue
