Spires of the Crimson Church

Spires of the Crimson Church

"In a churchyard, by a river, Lazing in the haze of midday, Laughing in the grasses and the graze. Yellow bird, you are alone in singing..." (Pink Floyd - Cirrus Minor - 1969) Zoom of Church Spires and The Madonna from the base of Cathedral Rock. Streaker Spire, (far right), rises 400 feet above the valley floor. Most rock climbers label it as a moderate 5.7. The "buff-coloured" slopes in the background are those of Munds Mountain. Munds Mountain is predominately composed of Coconino sandstone. Note the "limestone band" that cuts through the three formations. November 5, 2009

Re: Right on....

It wasn't meant to leave you breathless.

Re: Right on....

CPR? You should have caught me on November 7th during the sunset on Box Elder. It was quite the magical moment.

Re: Right on....

Amazing! We also had a spectacular sunset down
here in Arizona on that very same day!

No picture. By the time I got my camera out,
the sunshine had went to bed.
