St. Catherine Monastery
Overview over the monastery complex. The tourist entry is seen in the front wall. Accessible to ordinary tourists is only the patio between the entrance wall and the church and the church itself. The burning Thornbush is at the left end of the patio. Notice the mosque right of the church.
