Start of descent from Mt Evans ridge to Guanella Pass. The route takes you down the gully in lower right between the stands of trees at the bottom, then a little marsh stomping, willow bashing, and dead reckoning to get back to the main Bierstadt trail. Guanella Pass road and trailhead can be seen in the distance. July 25, 2003
