With my baby  Sucess!

Pushed our 5 month old in her stroller over to the bluff, then carried her, stroller and all up to the top. Ugh... On a side note, had a fantastic dinner afterwards in nearby Ottawa. This is a nice area.

Best Change of Scenery...  Sucess!

...within 2 hours of Chicago. Come here at least 3 times a year (January for the Eagles and Frozen Falls, Spring for the Water, Fall for the Leaves).

Loved it  Sucess!

Did so many family trips here. Great bird watching, great trails. Never did any of the climbing though.

Illinois?  Sucess!

Used to live nearby, great place. Never did get to do any ice climbing but nice hikes. One of the areas of more elevation gain/loss in IL. Oh yeah, the brunch is good too.

Nice place  Sucess!

Hiked many of the canyons when living in Bloomington, Illinois. The place is amazing in winter and during fall colors. The only bad thing is half of Chicago seems to be there for fall colors.
