Great climb, East approach  Sucess!

Climbed the Fin from the Rockhouse basin approach. No real trail after the first 3 miles, but it's not really needed in the desert landscape. The Kern was no deeper than a foot where we crossed. The scramble up from the East is long, but fun. It's the most rewarding peak I've been on and offers great views, with Langley and Whitney visible to the North.

Class 4 route  Sucess!

A great little summit block that will get your full attention. Improbable looking, but technically straight forward. The key for me was to just concentrate on the rock at hand and not look down.

Class 4 Route  Sucess!

A fairly long dayhike with Matthew, including Rockhouse Peak. One of the finest summit blocks in the Sierra. Trip Report
