Stetind Reflection

Stetind is a remarkable peak in Norway (Norway's "national mountain" in fact) rising abruptly 1392m (4564 ft.) above an arm of the Tysfjord southwest of the town of Narvik, in northern Norway. I was lucky to catch this nice sunset; I was camped out here for 3 days, and except for this brief sunset it rained pretty much the whole time. August 2009.

Hi Nicozone, see my reply to Daveyboy above. Just a simple dual-exposure blend to manage the difficult exposure of the brighter sky. Nothing fake!

It would be an excellent job either way. Having that effect accomplished almost entirely in-camera makes me want to head out right now to catch a view like this. Definitely awe-inspiring. Thanks Jack B.
