Photo CommentI'm going to cast my vote for the wider shot, although the vertical shot is good. I think the wider shot shows the big sky and the awesomeness (is that a word?) of the view. You get a sense of teetering over a ledge and just how amazing it must've been to be up there.
Nice job capturing this perspective and feeling, we all know how hard it is to capture on film what we see with our eyes.

One of My Favorite Photos!Wow! You have managed to capture the essense of High Sierra climbing with this one! The clouds, snow, exposure... it has it all. I've now added the East Ridge to my list of summer routes, but would like to do it in winter also. What time of year were you climbing in the photo? Thanks for sharing such an amazing shot!!!

Very well Portrayed!My thoughts exactly! I attempted this mountain this month which from my point of view it felt more intense than class 3. But then again Fred Becky would probably disagree with me. ;-)
