Re: That looks sweet!Thanks. I saw yours of Colchuck too that you just posted. If the snow on Stuart is anything like Colchuck, it's not very consolidated and would make any route in this photo pretty tough.

Re: That looks sweet!Yeah, I figured that out on Sunday on the North Face of Graybeard (see my profile shot). Sugar snow over rock sucks! Kind of a crappy winter / spring for technical ascents.

Re: That looks sweet!Yep, we did not have anything that severe to deal with but it still stunk even at like 40 to 45 degrees. We'll see if the new snow consolidates. There's a few more alpine routes I'd like to get in before it's gone this Spring.
